高校受験でのスケジュールの立て方はとても重要です。
中学3年生は定期テストだけでなく、実力テストや模試、そして、入試本番が加わるため、やることがいっぱいでスケジュールを立てるのが難しいですよね。
これまで勉強をサポートしてきた多くの受験生が、定期テスト対策と受験勉強のバランスのとり方がわからないという悩みを抱えていました。
先んずれば人を制す！
受験勉強は早ければ早いほど優位に手つことができます。
そうは言っても、中学1年生の時から受験を意識して勉強を始める公立校の中学生は稀です。
現実的なベストの高校受験勉強のスタート時期は２年生から３年生に進級する間の春休みがベストと言えるでしょう。
高校受験生は受験勉強と定期テスト対策を両立して勉強することが大切です。
そのため、やるべきことを無理なく進めていくには、2年生の春休みから長期的に受験勉強を進めていくことがおすすめです。
もちろん、春休みから始めないと合格できない、ということではなく、あくまでも、理想的なスケジュールと考えてください。
春休みから受験勉強をスタートできていなかった場合でも、やるべきことを順にきちんとやりきることができれば合格は可能です。
受験勉強と定期テスト対策の両立を目指すべし
中学3年生の勉強で、一番大切なことは定期テスト対策と受験勉強の両立です！
高校受験勉強の最終目標は第一志望校合格です。
高校受験（特に公立高校）では入試の点数と内申点の合計で合否を判断されます。
したがって、高校受験対策では入試本番で点数を取るための実力アップの勉強と、内申点を上げるための定期テストの勉強という、２種類の勉強を並行して行うことが大切になります。
そのため、これらの2つの勉強をどのように進めていくのかを考えると高校受験対策の理想のスケジュールを立てることができます。
定期テスト対策と受験勉強を両立するための2つのポイント
定期テスト対策と受験勉強を両立するポイントは次の２つです。
- 定期テスト2週間前からは定期テスト対策のみに集中する
- それ以外の期間は受験勉強に集中する
大切なのは、どちらかだけに集中して勉強するということです。
定期テストと受験勉強は、まったく違うものではありませんが、定期テストは狭く深く勉強する、受験勉強は広く大切な点に絞って勉強する、という点が違います。
定期テストは新しい知識を脳に定着させるための勉強で、狭い範囲の内容を詳しく覚える必要があります。
これに対して、受験勉強は範囲が広く、過去に勉強した知識を思い出して、再定着させる必要があります。
受験勉強をしても、定期テストの点数が上がるわけではないので、これらの勉強は分けて進めていかなければなりません。
定期テスト勉強の期間は最低でも2週間は必要なので、定期テスト2週間前からは定期テスト対策のみに集中して勉強をしてください。
定期テスト前2週間、または、定期テスト直後に実施される模擬試験は対策は諦めましょう。
定期テストと受験勉強を同時並行して行うと、どちらも身につかずに最悪の結果を招きます。
定期テストは内申点に大きく影響するテストなので、定期テストが近い時期には、定期テストの勉強を最優先しましょう。
定期テストと同時期に実施される、模擬試験に対しては、特に対策をせずに、その時点での自分の力試しのつもりで受験してください。
定期テストの前の２～３週間以外の期間は受験勉強に全力で集中して勉強しましょう。
模擬試験の合否判定は、定期テストがない期間の模擬テストのものを志望校選択の参考にするとよいでしょう。
定期テスト期間中の模擬テストの結果は、自分の実力が正しく反映されているとは言えないからです。
高校受験生の理想の学習スケジュール
ここからは受験勉強の具体的な進め方を解説します。
【2年生まで】定期テスト対策を徹底的にやる
公立高校の受験の場合は、中学3年生になるまでは特に受験勉強は意識しなくて大丈夫です。
1つだけ頑張ることは、定期テストです。
受験する県によっては、内申点に1～3年生の成績を採用するところがありますので、1年生の成績が高校受験の合否に影響するかもしれません。
高校受験は3年生になったら頑張ればいい、と言う油断は禁物です。
１～２年生の学習内容は、授業で教わった時にしっかりと理解して身に着けておきましょう。
また、1～2年生での勉強は3年生になった時の基礎になります。
基礎知識が十分身についていれば、3年生になってからの努力次第ででより高い志望校を目指すことができます。
2年生までは定期テストで70点以上は取れるように学習しましょう。

【２年生の春休み】２年生までの復習を終える
3年生になる直前の春休から受験勉強を本格的に始めるのが理想的なスタートです。
この時期にでやるべきことは、2年生までの復習です。
特に、数学と英語、理科の化学の分野は、知識の積み重ねが重要な教科なので理解が不十分な単元を必ず今すぐに復習しておきましょう。
これらの教科は2年生までの知識を十分に理解していないと、３年生の定期テストで点数を取ることができません。
受験勉強でありながら、定期テスト対策にもなりますので、絶対に苦手分野を克服しておいてください。
社会や理科の第２分野（生物・地学）は、それぞれが独立した単元のため、復習は後回しでもかまいません。
これらの教科は夏休みに集中的に復習しましょう。
もちろん、余裕があるなら、早めにやっておくに越したことはありません。
3年生の春休みでは今後の定期テスト勉強に必要な数学と英語、理科の化学分野の復習を徹底的に行いましょう。
【3年生1学期】春休みの解き直し＆受験対策問題集で復習
3年生の1学期では、春休みに復習した内容の解き直しと、厚めの問題集で全教科細かく復習をし始めましょう。
春休みに学習した内容の解き直しは、苦手分野の知識をしっかり定着させるためです。
春休みにせっかく復習したのものを、解きっぱなしにしていたら、すぐに忘れてしまいます。
解き直しは手間はかかりますが、最も効果的な勉強です。
また、1学期のうちに高校受験対策の問題集に取り掛かり始めましょう。
現時点での自分の実力に合った問題集を選択し、ミスした問題は何度も解き直しをして、完全理解に努めます。
3年生の2学期以降の学習を終えていないと解けない問題は後回しにして、既習の知識で解ける問題をどんどん解いていきましょう。
正解不正解に一喜一憂することなく、自分が解けない問題を洗い出すつもりで問題集に取り組んでください。
ここで洗い出した、現時点の自分の実力では解けなかった問題を、夏休みや2学期で解き直しをして、受験本番までにしっかり定着させます。

【3年生夏休み】１学期の続き～全教科の総復習
３年生の夏休みでは、１学期に行っていた受験対策問題集の続きを行い、3年生の1学期までに学習した全教科の総復習を終わらせます。
ここでは、これまでに学習した、社会や理科の単元を全復習することが必須です。
社会と理科は覚える内容が多いため、夏休み中に既習内容の復習を終わらせておかないと、後で大変なことになります。
2学期が始まってからはじっくりと復習する時間を確保するのは不可能です。
冬休みは過去問題や苦手克服などやることがいっぱいです。夏休みはまとまった時間で全体的な復習ができる最後のチャンスとなります。

【3年生2学期】夏休みの解き直し＆問題集の復習
３年生の２学期は夏休みの解き直しを行います。
夏休みに復習した内容をしっかり定着させるために、夏休みの解き直しは絶対に欠かせません。
また、夏休みの解き直しと並行して、受験対策問題集を先に勧めていきましょう。
【3年生冬休み～３学期】過去問題と苦手克服を徹底する
３年生の冬休み以降はいよいよ入試対策の大詰めです。
ここまで受験対策問題集を使ってしっかりと受験勉強に取り組んできたはずです。
ミスした問題を解き直して、苦手分野を克服するのと並行して、高校入試の過去問題に挑戦して、本番に向けたアウトプット練習を始めましょう。
各都道府県の過去問が書店で手に入りますので、必ず購入してください。
過去問題を解くときは、入試本番のように時間を測って解いて、間違えた問題をしっかりとチェックしておきましょう。
大切なのは過去問題で間違えた問題は、過去問の解き直しだけでは不十分ということです。
過去問題で間違えた問題は、その問題の解き方を知らなかっただけではなく、その問題の単元全体の理解が不十分であった可能性が高いんです。
過去問題で間違えた単元を、これまでの勉強で解きてきた受験用問題集で振り返って、知識を再確認しておきましょう。
入手できた過去問題を全て解き終わってしまった人は、これまでの模擬試験でミスした問題を解いてみたり、他県の入試問題を解いてみましょう。

ただ何となく問題を解いていただけでは、自分がどの問題を解けなかったのかが分からないまま受験直前を迎えてしまいます。
3年生の1学期がら高校受験用問題集を解いて、自分の解けない問題を見つけておいたのは、まさにこの時期の勉強のためだったのです。
