Today’s world is full of technology. We look at screens a lot. We do not write in hand so much anymore. Handwriting seems less important. But is it?
Experts say that writing in hand is very important, especially for children. Handwriting helps the brain develop well. Neat handwriting can even help children get better grades in school. Writing helps children connect letters with sounds. It is different from typing on a computer.
Writing with a pencil and paper may be better for memory. It helps improve thinking. So, handwriting is still important for children to learn and practice.

- シャドーイング…英語の音声を聞いたら、スクリプトを見ずに真似して発音し、復唱します。リスニングと同時にスピーキングも鍛えらます。
- ディクテーション…音声を聞いて、一つ一つの単語を正確に書き取ります。リスニング力を高める方法の一つですが、リスニング力だけでなく、ライティング力を強化することもできます。
